My Background

As a staff psychologist and leader in large healthcare systems for the past 16 years,  I've observed the impact of burnout on organizations and the hardworking individuals who enter medicine. 

Healthcare organizations across the country continue investing millions in wellness programs—mindfulness apps, yoga classes, and resilience training—while physician burnout rates remain stubbornly high at over 50%. These well-intentioned approaches treat the symptoms rather than the disease, failing to address the root cause. 

In my work with leaders, we examine key organizational drivers of burnout and work to address them in a way that results in workplace culture shifts that allow medical staff to thrive.  And when they thrive, our patients do too.
